The Corralitos Library The Corralitos Community Library is currently undergoing renovations, and will reopen to the public soon.
We are adding a local reference section, including internet access, work stations and periodical reading area.
The interior of the library is being re-designed to accommodate more books.
We will be re-roofing the building and upgrading the energy efficiency including added insulation.
We are adding a friendly new entrance to the library with formal signage on the building.
We thank you for your patience during renovations.
In addition to library renovations, we are planning more exciting community programs, including music education programs, and building a demonstration garden that will co-ordinate with the library to provide material for continuing education programs.
In the long term we are working towards expanded library hours, educational reading classes, and tutoring for adults and children.
We plan to raise funds for a reading lab for the children’s library, and be open during more of the year for after school reading programs.
Currently we are seeking community volunteers, sponsors and donations to help with all aspects of the renovations, as well as support for ongoing and new programs.
